What you can look forward to:
Explore our history as the city on three lakes—from logging, to fishing, to resort life and tourism. We’ll take you on a three hour walking tour of downtown (total distance covered 1.4 miles).
You will taste pure maple syrup from a local farm (infused with a variety of specialty flavors), enjoy a street taco from our new Pacific inspired Mexican Cantina, sample smoked fish varieties from a local fishery, taste house-smoked brisket from a local BBQ joint, and finish your tour with fresh macarons. Our tour is heavy on history—as Charlevoix is full of interesting people, stories, and buildings. See where the first postmaster distributed mail from his bedroom, and get a closer look at the famous Earl Young fireplace with a massive 9 ton glacier rock.
Our tight-night community encourages local eating and many restaurants source food from the farms and lakes surrounding Charlevoix. You’ll taste traditional flavors with local ingredients.
Enjoy this walk with your friends or family, and leave with a satisfied tummy.
*Tastings are subject to change. We cannot accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan diets on this tour.
